Transformation of the Anaheim Convention Center. Anaheim became a meeting and convention destination in 1967 with the construction of the domed Arena on Katella Avenue. Since those early days, the Anaheim Convention Center has gone through three major expansion projects and several cosmetic renovations to update the Center. Each expansion added another major exhibit hall and additional meeting space. The recent expansion of the Anaheim Convention Center is a total transformation of the structure and surrounding campus - a symbol of the vibrant city of Anaheim!

The Anaheim Convention Center’s 130,000 square feet of meeting rooms and ballrooms occupies the second and third levels, directly above the exhibit halls. The balcony-style registration and pre-function areas open onto the atrium towers. Enjoy beautiful views through the glass walls, down Convention Way toward Disney's world-famous theme parks. Designed to accommodate any size or style meeting, the flexible meeting and ballroom space offers moveable walls to divide spaces into small breakout rooms, or can be folded away for general sessions. The ballroom is one of the largest available in any convention center.

Lobby Areas of the Anaheim Convention Center. The main lobby area of the Anaheim Convention Center soars 190 feet to the top of the highest spire. Arriving at the Anaheim Convention Center. To approach the Anaheim Convention Center from Convention Way, drive along a corridor of palm trees and convention hotels toward the glass walled towers which form the dramatic rotunda lobby of the main entrance. Taxis, buses and cars move efficiently around a traffic circle, dropping off attendees then moving back along Convention Way.
